Then I came across a vacancy for Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Oxford on . The job description was very relevant, including the profile for suitable candidate. Before sending the application straightaway, I visited the actual job description on the University website, and also got the name and contact details of the recruiting person. I sent him an email with the aim of getting further information about the project, techniques and goals. I prepared my CV and cover letter accordingly and applied. I got the interview call within a week and I was nervous to be honest. I spoke to my University Tutors and Thesis Supervisor. They helped me to get prepared for the interview. I had my interview on November 25, 2009. I was supposed to get a feedback within a week. I sent a query mail after not hearing within a week; I did get a reply that review is still going on. On December 7 (2009), I got the official mail with the offer, and I joined the Radcliffe Department of Medicine at the on January 5, 2010.
