Enjoying a food & wine from the Morsel's Menu

Cosy, a wee bit quaint, and wholeheartedly welcoming, Morsels at Dempsey refuses to be confined to a single cuisine. The plates - crafted by stupendous chef Petrina Loh - offers a diverse range of food that draws on a myriad of flavours, ingredients, and techniques. The result is an informal and interesting gastronomic journey that takes place in a rustic, barnyard-style hideout not-so-far from the hustle and bustle of Orchard Road.

The spectacular menu boasts a creative mix up between East and West with dishes being switched up every once in awhile. Make a beeline for classics like the Steamed Venus Clams and Firecracker Duroc Pulled Pork, or try out gems like Seared Slow-Cooked Duck Breast or Grilled Wild Sri-Lankan Tiger Prawns. Sounds simple? Not when they're paired with yuzu white chocolate sauce, burnt okra, calamansi furikake, and more. Unusual combinations is a Morsels trademark, but what's even more impressive is the sheer amount of items that are made from scratch - for some, that makes all the difference in a dish.

Ultimately, while Chef Petrina's culinary pedigree is nothing to sniff at, with Le Cordon Bleu and a stint at HUSK in Nashville under her belt, it's really the intimate hospitality and innovative courses that will keep you coming back, time and time again, for more. (Feb 2017)
